 Post subject: "sticker" letters

how to light a letter or a word,without to see anything from below (light, light shapeable), to light only the letters.
like this.
by soft 3d and fpm (bulb)?with extremely fine thickness? close to zero

j'obtiens ce résultat. comment supprimer le noir autours ? détourer seulement les lettres ?

The only way I can think of is to create a shapeable light for each letter but that would be a pain.

@francisco quelle épaisseur ont les lettres ? la bille est-elle déviée à leurs contacts ?
je vais essayer avec rhino3d pour obtenir la plus faible épaisseur possible....
çà l'air de marcher !!!!! avec 0 mm d’épaisseur !!!!!

I used a plane with 0 of spesor.

Before save it finally before using FPM editor you must do:

1) Move to absolute cero

2) move a little up

3) move away from center to aboid the light halo, like this:

vais essayer avec blender et exporter directement en ms3d ....

on devrait pouvoir avoir une forte luminosité uniforme sur toute la surface.....comment zen studio y parviennent t-ils ? ils doivent utiliser des calques plus performants ??!! et meme avec le halo...car il participe activement à la lumière volumétrique . sur un véritable pinball ; la lumière (led, ampoule) n'est pas dissociées de ses composantes...et c'est dommage de se priver du halo, le rendu visuel est beaucoup plus plaisant et réaliste.Surtout s'ils sont de plusieurs sources différentes (mélange lumineux)

I allways use blender, sometimes the models dont look good when importing to milkshape, but beeing a face you will not have issues, if you cant do it just shout it here :D , looks like rhino3d didnt make a face, just vertex :?
