Hi all,

i tried to install independence Day 1.1 but when I launch it with BAM 254 I have error meditation line 248 this object doesn't allow FadeIn.

I gone to the line 248 and it's just a verification of the BAM version.

Can someone help me please ?

I have BAM 254 installed and I'm not experiencing the problem. I looked at the fadein function in the script and could not find anything wrong. Did you somehow alter the HUD on the translite?

The HUD fades in and out on my PC. There is no coding to fade MyDmdxxxxxx in or out.

I had to rename the HUD to have the real DMD on MyDMD and I named the HUD DMD MyDMDxxxx
Maybe this is the problem ?

Yes that is the problem.

MyDmdxxxxxx is displayed on the translite. Fade in and Fade out is NOT supported for it. The HUD DOES support fade in and fade out. Swapping the two DMDs will produce an error.

Why are you swapping the 2? They both work. If you want to add the table to your pincab just turn the HUD off using the HUD toggle key. The setting is saved to the fpRam file.

Ok, if both work I will let the name as the original. The thing is that sometime you have to rename them if not the real DMD doesn't work.
I will try so.

Thanks for your help

Stephane

Smoke used to code his table that only support one DMD. Francisco changed the code to make the DMD display on both DMDs at the same time.
