Hi guys,
Just a quick question, I put the new BAM but now all my playfileds are not on the correct dimension, I copied all the CFG directory and files but still the same.
So the only way was to copy only the BAM.DLL is that correct or I really need other files from new BAM to make it work with his new features ?

You also should copy renderingengine.dll and PinballHighScore.cfg and PinballHighScore.dll from the Plugins directory

Hi guys,
I have a little issue, maybe i'm doing something wrong but I copy the new BAM.dll and also copy renderingengine.dll, PinballHighScore.cfg and PinballHighScore.dll as suggested and now When I play I never have to register my score, even on a new brand table.
The game finish normally without asking me to enter my initials.
Did I missed something ?

@Turk182: Here is guide how to safely test new BAM version. 1. Create another dir in FP dir. Lets say "BAM-TEST" Lets say FP is installed in default path. So full path is: c:\game\Future Pinball\BAM-TEST
2. Copy content of current downloaded BAM.ZIP to this BAM-TEST dir. This dir will look same as your current BAM dir. Inside you will have BAM.dll, FPLoader.exe and all other BAM files and folders.
3. Copy content from your orginal BAM\CFG dir to BAM-TEST\CFG. So, you will have all old settings.
4. Copy configuration files from BAM\plugins to BAM-TEST\plugins (all files except *.dll)
5. Copy configuration files from BAM dir to BAM-TEST dir. It will be all *.dat, *.cfg, *.seq. Well full list is short: - Reality.dat - WiiMoteCams.dat - bam.cfg - CalibrationBoardData.cfg - default.cfg - stereoCalibrationData.cfg - default.cfg
Now you can run FPLoader.exe from BAM-TEST dir. All your settings should be transfered to new BAM. If something goes wrong, You can safely delete whole BAM-TEST dir and use your previous BAM version. All settings will stay unchanged.

I tested "Tron" and it don't work as you described (can't enter initials). Temporary solution is disable "BAM High Score". Goto to "plugins" menu in BAM and disable it.

Thank you Ravarcade ! I did exactly this to test the new BAM but Highscores did'nt worked. I see you new correction so I'm glad to have find the bug  ) Thanks again for you pro activity ! EDIT : By the way, do you know why if I use the all new BAM folder copying my CFG file it doesn't keep all my playfield configuration ? Do I have to copy something else from my old BAM folder to keep all as I have ?

You need to keep all the CFG files and "Reality.dat". If you added a "default.xml" file, you will want to keep that also. If you use VR, you will want to keep "WiiMoteCams.dat". I don't use VR so I don't worry about it. If you are using VR, you should probably use the version "BAM-OpenVR.zip" anyway. I do updates a little differently than Rav. You can try the different methods and see what works best for you. I unzip a new version of BAM (non-VR version) to a temporary folder. I delete the following from the new version: "default.cfg" file "balls" folder (I have added additional custom balls to my old version and want to keep them) "cfg" folder (This is just a blank folder in the new version and you need to keep your old files) "xml" folder (I have added several XML files of my own that I keep) Then I delete the following folders from my old version: "plugins" "removed_plugins" Then I just cut the entire contents of the new BAM folder and paste it into the folder for my old version and overwrite everything. This will update the needed files and leave all the files that you want to keep. George
