Absolutely agree :!:

Actually they make very little, after all the licensing fees and expenses (payroll, buying the actual pinball machines, ect.) they barely make any profit.

Please link where these "facts" were derived.

Well, with Twilight Zone, they aren't just paying Bally/Williams/WMS. They're paying Hollywood too (and the 10,000 sub-companies that come with it)

I would suspect this table is for the fans... not for profit after all the money changes hands.

I wouldn't mind making a kickstarter donation. And I would already have done it because I really love the idea FARSIGHT is working on.
But I would wait with such projects until TPA is even out in other counties as well. There is still no release in europe for anything TPA related on PS3/Vita. And there is already the 2nd DLC pack with funhouse and voltaire available for iOS and Android (I don't play on these tiny displays, so nothing for me).
Before I can buy it from my european ps store and before I have a good MAC or PC version (Mac version still lacks graphics and nudge appropriate controls atm) I will not make donations.
After I can actually play this and like it, I will probably support them because I played the hell out of their fantastic PHOF.

They already own the licenses to hundreds of games, but they get emails every single day asking for Twilight Zone. It doesn't make any business sense to take a risk on it. They have come up with a way to see if people are willing to put their money where their mouths are. If enough people want it, it will get done, otherwise they will continue to make great tables that they already have licensed. Working closely with the pinball community and letting them decide which tables will be made seems like a great situation to me. I'm not going to get excited about it until there is a PC version though.

Now that I know they only needed $55k it seems more pathetic they are panhandling donations. Thats not even one developers yearly salary. They should have waited and ponied up themselves. Obviously they would have made their money back.

Theres not a huge market for pinball games so they dont make much...

At least Farsight Studios had the balls to make a pinball game and risk losing money...

Don't think, that Microsoft will allow in future so release any Farsight table because of so licences and some other things. I have PA at my xbox360 since the first our in europe. Sice three years no updates. And most same bugs at all plattforms.
At PS4: The only game with very big latency, can be solved at some TVs using Game settingings at some tv, but curous too.
The big announce of steam cab solutions: nothing released till now.
Big promises of graphic steam update compated to PS4 a year ago.....till now no result ( DX 11)
Big promise of making 3 d solution for stereoscopic displays - a joke

Only good thing is gameplay, if it would have less bugs ( Own it at Steam, Android, IOS, Xbox360 and PS4 so I have a good compare). Near the same bugs at all plattforms. I Farsight a so little company with big promises to keep their fans?
All they have done has a very great potential, but not really used.
Have big hope, that someones people will get, what TPA so long time ago have promised.
