I have been experimenting with shadow maps on Monster Bash for most of the day. I managed to successfully add several but the slingshots are impossible (except for the "Reflection" shadows I discussed previously).

I have found a test you can use to see if shadow maps will work on a table. Set the "Brightness" to "2" and the "Spotlight Range" to "10". If that does not produce a shadow, it is pretty much a lost cause. These settings will produce something akin to a flame thrower on many tables.
