First mini-playfield beta:

http://www.ravarcade.pl/beta/BAM.dll

and demo table:
http://www.ravarcade.pl/beta/miniplayfield.fpt
(I'm not table designer. Don't blame me if it is not playable).
Image

--- manual how to use it ---
There is only one new script command: xBAM_MiniPlayfield but it has 10 arguments. Don't worry it is simple.
First 6 arguments are used to define 3D Box from objects are move & shrink (or enlarge).
- X_minimum
- X_maximum
- Y_minimum
- Y_maximum
- Z_minimum
- Z_maximum

Next 3 params are used to calc where to move objects in that 3D box
- X, Y, Z

Last one is scale.

It is not easy to guess that params, so i give you easy way to find it: Go to [Dev Options] -> [Mini-Playfield] menu. Here you can change all that 10 params and see what happend on the fly.
They are in same order as script command. Here you will also see values set in script (if xBAM_MiniPlayfield command is called).

In that menu you have 2 more switches:
- Draw 3D Boxes - you may order BAM to mark where is orgin and target 3D box (orange & green box).
- Objects position - it controls if objects from orgin box should be drawed inside orgin or target box.

About demo table: MiniPlayfield.fpt
I put "mini-playfield" to the left side of the table. See image:
http://www.ravarcade.pl/beta/mini-playf ... editor.png

In game it looks like this:
(Please note orange & green boxes. Screenshot is taken when "Draw 3D Boxes" was set to "yes".)

In script i call xBAM_MiniPlayfield like this:
Code:
call xBAM_MiniPlayfield (-850, -330, -15, 100, -145, 390, 500, 0, -235, 0.5)

It moves objects from orgin (orange) box to targer (green) box:

When you run for first time my miniplatfield.fpt try to:
- Go to [DEV Options] -> [Mini-Playfield] menu.
- enable "Draw 3D boxes"
- move camera to see orange box on the left to table
- try to manipulate with "Box" params.
You should see, how change of box will remove/add objects.

How BAM decide if object is inside box:
- Most objects are selected based on center (orgin point) of object. Like flippers, balls ...
- Objects like surfaces, walls, rubbers are selected if whole object is inside box ...

Few tips:
- If you create ball on "mini-playfield", use CreateCaptiveBall. When FP camera mode is set to "F3", camera will follow ball. For FP ball is always in orgin/orange box. So camera can look at empty space on left side of table where ball is not drawed.

- You may remove from script xBAM_MiniPlayfield and play table. You will see on left side of table big version of "mini-playfield". It may be usefull for testing

---------------------
I did not test it when playfield screen is rotated or with second display for backbox. (It is late, I'm tired and i have to write this manual ;)).
I realy hope that this time i found all bugs.

THAT IS TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE !!

incredible Ravarcade

That really works well !!
The physics of all the objects, custom balls, flippers are perfect !!
It doesn't seem to impact FPS on my system, at least with a simple demo table

It shouldn't be any different I know, and it may be the smaller square box, but the flipper accuracy
seems perfect? I don't know if a square box as opposed to a rectangular pinball table has anything to do with it....probably just a false impression.

I am putting targets on both the main table and miniplayfield to see if this is actually the case.

It will be interesting to see once a table designer like Wild/GF/JP etc... try to deck out the miniplayfield with all the graphics and objects , whether there are any glitches or limitations.

But so far, this seems to work flawlessly....

Genius pure Genius RAVARCADE !!

It is a wonderful thing... :o  :o
I only have a small problem. The miniPF (to right) has a transparent bottom and see the leg of pnball. I tried to put a texture and I tied to "Surface" of the Mini, but I see it only on the plane to the left and always transparent on the bottom of right mini .
Did I do something wrong?

Under BAM Dev, play with the ymin and zmin values.
I find the bottom will dissapear at some point as I increase the value
