hey rav, my cab is getting finished now, but i would really like the 3d experience now i still have the chance to build it in, but i can't seem to find a manual on your site that specifies or explains how to build this system (hardware), i was thinking of using the ps3 camera's because there quiete small to build in the backbox and then use a hat with IR..
i think i still have BAM version 54 on my pc ;-)
time to upgrade!!

Head tracking with ps3eyes/kinect/IR leads approaches 3d
but if you really want 3d you'll need a 3d capable graphics card
and 3d capable display/ tv

I believe the head tracking looks more 3d when seen thru video
camera than in reality at least that's my experiance
. the youtube videos of head tracking look amazing

It's amazing having all of these tracking options already implemented for BAM!

Well done Ravarcade !

It would be neat to know what actually works best.

but I guess it depends on the your individual computer specs etc...

Still happy with my 50" 3d Samsung Tv + Kinect.
But randr setup looks enticing..

hey randr, my kit installed today while looking at you're instruction video's

i see there are a lot of differences now with the latest bam update (73), luckely some of it was the same so i plowed my way trough it :)

one thing i'd probebly had to start with is calibrating the camera's left and right because on
your screen the grid looks parabolic, maybe that's why i don't get a score under 27..

but either way the camera's follow my head movement but i have a dept-problem
the whole playfield is shaking from left to right while playing and i can't seem to find a correction for this (getting seasick :( )

any tips?

Make sure no lights are in camera view...A ceiling light will effect cams as the see any light and will bounce between it and you..also make sure you adjust cam settings in bam menu you can change light levels etc cam sees..as in my videos I should make a new one I suppose

it was a fairly dark room when i tried it, but maybe to much reflection of the glass
gonna put a towel over it :D

i want to decase my camera's too

any tips for that or is it an easy thing?

and can they be mounted sideways or do they have to stay horizontal ?
