I have a question that I think only you can answer. I replaced two texture files on a table. One of the files was a BMP and I reduced the size from 12 MB to 5.2 MB. I replaced a second 10.5 MB BMP file with a 0.6 MB JPG file. It seems like the file size of the FPT should have been reduced by 16.7 MB but it was only reduced by 10 MB. Do you know why? The only idea I have is maybe FP compresses BMP files in some way.

George It is just a demo showing how we may have multiple gamesrooms with multiple textures. The graphics in the demos are just grabbed from the internet and imported into the template... Don't worry about whether you like the graphics I picked, the intention was to demonstrate the idea

At what stage of game it crashes? - when FP is loading - when table is loading to FP editor - when game is loaded, but before you can see table and game room - you cans see game room and table but only few frame - during game Do you have any antivirus installed?

my system still crashes also Rav, see crash log. It occurs after I have loaded table and press "c" key, which calls for new texture in script..

Thanks Rafal!!!!It works wonderfully on my office computer (crashes on my home laptop as above post) I misunderstood the code above...Procedure: 1. Make sure the textures you will be swapping are loaded in VRAM by assigning them to Surfaces (each surface can have 3 textures loaded: under top, side and enamel map, these assignments aren't relevant, just a way of loading textures) 2. for objects with one texture like "first texture" in above script, if you want to swap "first texture" then the code below swaps it. Code: ' First texture: xBAM.SetTexture "fpObjectName", "TextureName", 0
'to switch First texture to something else: xBAM.SetTexture "fpObjectName", "NextTextureName", 0

@Gimli: In this thread i have 2 BAM_Crash.logs from you. First one was adressed in fixed "renderingengine.dll". Error occurs in "renderingengine.dll" in code used for debuging. It is removed. Second BAM_Crash.log from you. Error occurs in code used to modify memory of fp-toy-object. Right now i don't know if problem is in different FP version or error in script (wrong texture). So, we need to know, if problem is in script, FP.exe or BAM.dll. Here is my "SetTextureDemo" table: http:\\www.ravarcade.pl/beta/SetTextureDemo.fpt  With keys X,C,V you can change between 3 colors: red, blue, white. On table are all object-types capable to change texture. So, if this table works and you can see change on all object then "fp.exe" is ok, "bam.dll" is ok and your script is "broken". If it crash, when i will need "BAM_Crash.log" & "FP.exe". @gibsmedat: BAM_Crash.log only tells me, that we have different error than Gilmli. Problem is more complicated, because error occurs outside my code. Nothing in log don't point to any line BAM.dll or "renderingengine.dll". So all i know, that it may be result of changes made by my code, but i don't have any clue what is changed wrong. I also don't have any computer where i can reproduce same error.
