Does anyone know how to fix this? Whenever I try changing a light list or an image list, Future Pinball just crashes and doesn't save any of the changes I've made to these lists. I've been able to work around it by just using a different computer whenever I need to make changes to either of these, but obviously it's annoying and I'd love to be able to fix it. I already have administrative rights checked and am running it under XP (Service Pack 2) compatibility. Other problems I have are model/texture previews don't display in the editor, I can't add texture directly to the table file, (Only through libraries) and whenever I try changing table info, none of it saves. Anybody have any ideas for things I can try? Thanks in advance.

:( No one wrote you back. Since last month.. guess by now you probably figured out your problem. If not here's some iders.

If its crashing, make sure you are running FP1.9 found here.
http://www.futurepinball.com/

FP wasn't really updated for Windows 8 and Windows 8 does have its glitches, so this could be why.

Now, i also had the problem with model textures don't display in editor, but when you play the game its fine, 1 thing you can do is save the file, close it and open it, then it will show up, another thing is switch between .jpg to .bmp 24bit or 32bit, sometimes simply copying the image and making a new image fixes this. FP also accepts .tga files.

Table info is best changed using FP 2.5 it is a known error in the editor.. Hope this helps.

Well... I remember my first PC (at work). No disk. Two huge floppy disks (5 1/4", single size, single density -> 160 Ko, one for the Dos, one for the programs and to save files).
But, 15 3 1/4" disks is about the size of my tables. Well done Steve (Polygame, AnonymousUser, HappyCab, who's next ;-) )

:D Yeah i remember back then, sure brings back memories. After watching The Karate Kid i really wanted to be a ninja. LOL  so i spent hours playing kung fu on my old computer. First pinball on my pc back then was pinball construction set. I got a lot of free games from my uncle who worked at some computer company back then.

I have had the same problem (on windows 8.1) too, and I found the solution.
FP must be launch as administrator but not in compatibilty mode (uncheck the option).
If you launch in Windows XP compatibility, it crashes.

Might be a important find, as Win10 is coming and who knows what M$ is doing to that one.
