Hey Dj,

I used to think the same but I then found this:

BAM uses physics in a priority basis. This is important to understand as when you run a table it will use whatever it finds FIRST and in the following order:

1-BAM first looks for modern dynamic physics and an embedded xml contained in the table script (newer tables only)
2-if not found, then it will look for an XML file or a zip file (Zed physics uses zip) matching the table filename
3-if not found then it will use the default.xml in the BAM folder
4-if not found, it will use finally use whatever physics the FuturePinball.exe uses

The above shows that the exe should not overwrite Slams embedded xml in his table scripts.

You can see what BAM is using for the physics by just looking on the bottom right side of any BAM menu. It will show the source of the physics, whether it is script or a file. The only time I have seen it mess up is when there is a zip file and an xml file with the same name as the table. If the zip file contains no xml file (like one containing custom ball textures only), BAM will display the name of the ZIP file but use the physics in the XML file.

Of course, you can also compare the values that are displayed on the Physics Tweaks option with the values in the XML to see if there is a match.
