New to Future Pinball... running BAM... I just can't get rid of the Future Pinball image on my backglass so that I can get relevant images/videos on the backglass and also to be able to position the DMD on the backglass. Running BAM with the original future pinball.exe. Is this image a default? It appears on all my tables unless I run a diffferent .exe but doing that just gives me a black screen on the backglass and most of the tables won't run with those other .exes. thanks for the help! 2 screen system with full screen/arcade mode.

Another oddity... When I select my playfield I use display 1 but for the backfield, I only get the option for display 4 and no options for display 2 with correct setup under windows 10 for screen display 1 and 2.

Try opening the BAM menu while playing a game and then open the "Addons" menu option. Arrow down to the bottom option, "FP Logo", and use your arrow key to turn it off. Then exit the menu.

I use a single monitor and don't know the answer to your other question.

Thanks but that is just for the Future Pinball logo on the bottom of the playfield... I already had that turned off. What I'm talking about is the Future Pinball image that takes up the whole backglass screen.

You can try it with this zip file.
Copy it to the table game folder and rename it with the same table name.fpt
Example: C:\Games\Future Pinball\Tables\Metallica MOD 2.0
If already a zip file exist, copy only the TGA folder into the zip file maybe you have to rezip it.

Sorry, I guess I have never seen the image on the backglass because I use a single monitor.

What do you mean by that ? You never look at the BackGlass ?

You can change the image on back glass several ways:

1. Easy Future pinball way . Import you new backglass image using "texture Manager"
Go to translite view in table editor and change translite image.

Here are some sample backgalss images:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/exgyawpfy1kty ... s.rar?dl=0

You can edit these in any graphics program and add your own graphics in the appropriate
spots.

Here's a simple video. I enabled "load image into table editor" so you can see it.
Make sure to save table, and exit FP and load FP again with this disabled.

2. Add an overlay to the translite and then use image list manager

3. Use BAM swap texture code. You have to import textures into FP then assign them to a surface before you use BAM code

''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
If you are wanting to change the Cabinet texture you do it the same way
You take an existing cab texture. I included the starwars one in the above zip file.

Import it into texture manager. Go to translite view in table editor and select cabinet texture and choose your texture.

the star wars cab texture can be edited with your own graphics in any graphic program...

I got the correct backglass image showing in the translite but I don't know how to add an overlay and the following instructions. I still get that darned Future Pinball image on my backglass and not the image that shows up in the translite.

I thought he meant he was seeing the Future Pinball logo on the backglass. I have never seen it there. In fact, I have never heard of it being displayed there. The only places I have ever seen it is on the loading screen and as a watermark at the bottom of the screen. Do you mean the FP logo or something else? A screenshot would help.

Do you mean the Heads Up Display (HUD)? It is usually a Dot Matrix Display (DMD) that is normally used on a desktop. It displays the score and other stuff.

I think you will find your answer here:

https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=33896&hl=

Evidently, the problem has something to do with integrated motherboard graphics or laptops that have a dedicated GPU chip as well as integrated.
