Post subject:  Warning-Tilt

hi guys, I don't know if any of you noticed that.....these two sub, are one for the warning of an incoming tilt, the other the titl happened....

Sub FuturePinball_TiltWarning(ByVal Warnings)

Sub FuturePinball_Tilted()

now this is in base as in special propertier-warnings before tilt 3 in the fp editor.

the problem is when the tilt occurs, that is this sub ......Sub FuturePinball_Tilted()....in the warning works I see the animation

lights and sounds work, but strangely what concerns the DMD (text or animations) do not work, they are not performed on the DMD ..... has anyone noticed this?

I tried with a timer to delay the animation, but it doesn't work, same speech, the lights and the sounds work , but the animation doesn't.....

in this sub.....
Sub FuturePinball_Tilted()
PlaySound "fx-tilt------work
For x = 1 To 16: Eval("U" &x).FlashForMs 500, 50, BulbOff:----- Next work
LeftFlipper.SolenoidOff------work
RightFlipper.SolenoidOff--------work
text and animation--------not work......?????????
TiltRecoveryTimer.Interval = 500------I do not know
TiltRecoveryTimer.Enabled = TRUE
End Sub

a thought .... this sub, is not in any other sub or timer, probably, since some things work, it must be connected in a mysterious way, to tilt ... but I wonder why the text or the animation do not work? a bug?

thanks for those who want to answer me

regards

Hello Paolo,
sorry, but it's work...
Concerning TiltRecoveryTimer.Interval = 500 and TiltRecoveryTimer.Enabled = TRUE, it's just a routine wich wait for the balls drain.

hallo JP.....
sorry if I insist, but it doesn't work for me ... now ... I tried the text, this works ... I made a mistake, but ... about animation it still doesn't work .... now .. ..listen well,,,this is the code..ok

Code:
Sub FuturePinball_TiltWarning(ByVal Warnings)'wild******************* tilt avvertenza
  If Warnings = nvTiltWarnings Then
    TiltLights.Play SeqBlinking, , 20, 20
    PlaySound "fx-tilt warning"
     DebA = 32: FinA = 75:  FonteA = 0: TempsA = 100: NFontA = 1: FontNA = "Font79": RepeatA = 0: LogoA = 1: StartDmdAnimations'------- Danger
  End If
End Sub

Sub FuturePinball_Tilted()
    PlaySound "fx-tilt"
    For x = 1 To 18: Eval("U" &x).FlashForMs 500, 50, BulbOff: Next
    For x = 1 To 2: Eval("BatDmd" &x).Text = "[f6][edge4][b][xc][yc]PINBALL OUT[/b]": Next
     DebA = 32: FinA = 65:  FonteA = 0: TempsA = 150: NFontA = 1: FontNA = "Font78": RepeatA = 0: LogoA = 1: StartDmdAnimations'------- tilt
    Timer23.set true, 3000
    LeftFlipper.SolenoidOff
    RightFlipper.SolenoidOff
    TiltRecoveryTimer.Interval = 2000
    TiltRecoveryTimer.Enabled   = TRUE
End Sub

if I purposely activate the "tilt" and press the tilt key three times (I don't understand why three times if I set twice (in special propertier-warnings before tilt 2).....I get the warning...and this work......as soon as I press 2 more times I get the tilt .... and I don't see the animation (if you want I can make a video, and I put it)

but the strange thing you know what it is ...JP.... is if I do this with the G key ... I see the animation of the titl ... how do you explain this?

if keycode = 34 then FuturePinball_Tilted() ' "G" key on keyboard

PS;I added the text "PINBALL OUT" just to show you that the text works but I removed it, but I'm interested in the animation ... by the way the def font78 number ... is right
