...So I suppose you identify in the script the events that drive something and you address what it actuates in the ini file.

I don't think I will ever be up to building my own cabinet. I have looked at this site several times. Do you know of anyone has bought one of these and is satisfied with it?

Yes, we just use a simple FF_DOF "E",xxx, nnn command in the table script that will trigger whatever "E" is in the *30.ini file. We just chose how long its turned on or off.

Whereas normal DOFLinx commands do all that on their own from the table script.

As for Virtua Pins...lots of people buy them and are happy. They don't deal with any feedback at all, so you would be on your own for that like the rest of us. :)

Much more costly compared to making your own depending on what is at your disposal .

...and I got confirmation that Arngrim will add FP and FX2 tables to the DOF Config Tool! Yes!

The FX2 tables will get updated fairly quickly since thay are already DOFLinx'd....the FP tables may take much more time. This is new territory, and while I could just do a 5 RGB flasher emulation for what I already did with my DOFLinx mods..... well that would be boring! These MX leds allow for sooo much more!

A day of greatness is upon us....

DOFLinx will soon support triggering "any" DOF device and command.

This means that finally.... addressable leds (MX), will work with Future Pinball and Pinball FX2!

Here's a coming soon "reveal" video I made.... "Let there be light!"

Arngrim has added all of the FX2 tables, and a list of FP tables I gave him to the DOF Config Tool! The FP list is by no means ALL of the tables, but these are the more common tables that either have DOFLinx already, or will get it in the future.

After the DOFLinx update is released (soon), anyone can update their MX effects for a table that has already been updated with DOFLinx MX.

MOTU is the only FP for now, and all of the FX2 tables will get updated soon.

What that means is, you can change the effects for a table (that has been DOFLinx MX'd, and has DOF MX commands added in the Tool) without having to touch the table file at all! Just go on DOF Config Tool, make your changes, then update your DOF config files!

Terry,

I appreciate your excessive encouragement!

If you are using the latest version of MOTU that I posted and the new version of BAM, it will now be able to go up to a score of 900 trillion points before it goes into overflow.

Haven't updated either yet, as adding DOFLinx to the updated desktop MOTU takes hours to do, and then lots of testing after that. I eventually will though....

Trying to get everything sorted for this DOFLinx update, and have a good "standard" to start with to make adding it to new tables easier.
