there is already an entry in PinSimDB for the add-on, but the add-on zip file i uploaded i still can't see... maybe it is still "waiting for publishing"...
or maybe i made something wrong.

There are 2 updates to "FPx Blender Importer" and then there is a new posting for "MS3D Blender - Importer/Exporter". It is very confusing to me because the 2 postings both say "add-on for Blender 2.79b" Are they the same thing?

how you can see what i tried to upload - even me isn't able to see that?!
i don't see anything i tried to upload...


yes, that is possible, that there are two times the same download...

i tried to publish the add-on, but i didn't re-call or realized that it will take time to show up...
so i re-tried it again a second time...

and another issue is, i used FireFox 70.x as browser, and it seems, that the webpage isn't working well with that browser in "edit resource mode" for pinsimdb... at least with my browsersettings... i can't edit anything in the form and/or the text disappears from the form... so i can't change the text, and can't see or verify, what is uploaded already.

now i tried to use MS Edge browser ... i deleted all my "drafts"
and re-try to uploaded all...

EDIT: i re-done all the uploads again and changed the descriptions for "FPx-importer" and "MS3D-importer/-exporter".
but unfortunately i understood too late, what your confusion was with the lable of uploaded files.. i did it again... i labled the two different files same. the add-on for FPx is labled "add-on for blender 2.79b", and the add-on for MS3D is labled "add-on for blender 2.79b".
i didn't realized, that outside of the context of FPX and MS3D, you can not distinguish both files by its labels, to find out what file is what... sorry.
but at the moment i can't change/correct it as long i can not see (or get access to) the re-done changes i just made on pinsimdb...

is TheNalex and/or LvR still responsable for PinSimDB? i still have problems to publish my uploads and text on PinSimDB.

Do you mean by that it's futile to try to convert your add-on so that it will work with Blender 2.80's Python API changes? They don't look that hard, but I already failed with those. If the changes go deeper I stop trying :(

it will be possible to convert my add-ons to blender 2.80 and higher.
but from blender 2.80 things changed in how things are handled
(e.g. layers, groups, normals, userinterface)
i wasn't following the blender development for over a year :oops:
i am not using blender >=2.80 actively, so i have no experience how the best practice is now to put thing in layers and groups now and how to program thing like that.
and i have no time to go the long way to do the adjustments

you can try to change the add-ons.

note, you have to adjust addons\io_scene_ms3d first, because addons_contrib\io_scene_fpx depends on that ms3d add-on!
