hello

i found a little problem when importing FPT into blender.
It seem that you apply the start height/end height from the start of the ramp to its end. Without using the selected end point of the ramp that could elsewhere than at the end of the ramp.

imagine a ramp with 4 control point equaly reparted and with height from 0 -> 50 and i mark the point 3 as the end point.

So i have the following height for each point:
point 1 height 0
point 2 height 25
point 3 height 50 <- marked end ramp point
point 4 height 50

but in blender it seem that it is always the last point that is marked as end ramp point for height interpollation
point 1 height 0
point 2 height 16,6
point 3 height 32,6
point 4 height 50

thank you.
yes, i was ignoring the existence of that end-point-flag.
with the blender BuildBot build of tomorrow (Sun Jan 12 2014), it should be fixed (more or less - currently it has a smooth transition)

PS.: the official builds for windows are broken til ~27'th Jan 2014. until then, take the Experimental VS 2013 builds.

EDIT: i just uploaded the Addon-Fpx-File-io_scene_fpx.zip file to the wiki page, to get the updated version immediately.

Romicco,

Blender v2.79b has this functionality - so download this version as well as the latest, and then use v2.79b when wanting to Import/Export .ms3d files.

Blender v2.79b can be downloaded from their repository -> https://www.blender.org/download/previous-versions/

I already have blender 2.79b

I need an Importer to make a Ramp model.
I want to import Ramp Lane into blender.
(.fpt > blender > fpm Editor > .fpm)

I want to make a plastic ramp model, which is similar to this post.

Hi Romicco,

Apologies if I misunderstood.

The required python scripts and the FPM model *.blend file are in the following .zip file (** NOT a Blender addon .zip file **) that can be downloaded from here:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/mqhphs

Then if you follow the 'manual' installation instructions from here -> https://archive.blender.org/wiki/index.php/Extensions:2.6/Py/Scripts/Import-Export/FuturePinball_FPx/, then you can hopefully get the 'importer' to work (this is what I have just done, imported a *.fpt table - and it seems fine for me...)

Hopefully what you were after?

Gin

What the advantage is to change ramps like this? Can't you just leave the FP ramps segmented in the editor?

i am so sorry... i absolutely forgot, that i have another project that needs my attantion...
blender 2.79b is the very last version that supports my add-on.
but the add-on is only bundled in the developer version of blender.
you can find that add-on inside the blender version "blender-2.79-e045fe53f1b0-..." you can download from here:
https://download.blender.org/release/Bl ... 79/latest/

for example, you will find the add-on under
blender-2.79-e045fe53f1b0-win64\2.79\scripts\addons_contrib\io_scene_fpx\
in the archive blender-2.79-e045fe53f1b0-win64.zip
