I have a cabinet abut I wanted to get it working on desktop first.
But I dont get any of the cool video in desktop mode
In the following directory C:\Games\Future Pinball\Pup-packs\FP_RETROFLAIR_BAM
I have the following
Attachment:
pup-pack.JPG

When I start retroflair

I get no cool video for it.

So I saw terry Jaws Pinball.
I downloaded the Jaws Topper files
ans extracted them to
C:\Games\Future Pinball\Pup-Pack\Jaws VPX PuP-Pack (1.0)\Jaws
Once again when I play the FPT no cool graphics.
I moved the stuff from the translate

I have the icom.dll under the ...Future Pinaball\scripts and the rest of the PinEvent*.vbs

not sure what is going on

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

You need to have Pinup Player installed and setup, if you want to use PuP-Packs. If you have never installed or used it before, then you need to learn how it works first. If you don't know what any of this is, then I suggest watching this video first.

PinEvent is still in beta and not final, so it's why I don't have any formal PinEvent install video (you used to need doflinx to use pup with FP....but not with PinEvent...it's new), but you can watch my PuP-Packs on Top (Desktop) video here to hopefully get you started for what you need until then.

Ok So I am looking at the PinEvent_*.vbs info
I added the following to the JAWS script
under Option Explicit

Dim PinEvent_Profile
PinEvent_Profile = 0
ExecuteGlobal LoadExternalScript ("PinEvent_Settings.vbs")
cGamename = "FP_JAWS_ULT_PRO" 'name of Game as listed on the "DOF Config Tool" web site
cPuPPack = "FP_JAWS_ULT_PRO" 'name of PuP-Pack / PuPVideos
ExecuteGlobal LoadExternalScript ("PinEvent_Control.vbs")
DOFStart(cGamename) 'Start DOF Session
PuPStart(cPuPPack) 'Start Pinup Player / PuP-Pack

Then i added the PinEvent_control info under this * I am using the following entry PinEvent_Profile = 1*

' The following example would be at the top of the table script under Option Explicit.

Dim PinEvent_Profile
PinEvent_Profile = 1 'Set what PinEvent Profile you wish to use with this table.

ExecuteGlobal LoadExternalScript ("PinEvent_Settings.vbs") 'Load PinEvent Profiles and settings
cGamename = "FP_JAWS_ULT_PRO" 'name of this table's DOF Config as listed on the "DOF Config Tool" web site
cPuPPack = "FP_JAWS_ULT_PRO" 'name of the PuP-Pack / PuPVideos folder for this table
ExecuteGlobal LoadExternalScript ("PinEvent_Control.vbs") 'Load PinEvent Control file

DOFStart(cGamename) 'Check for DOF - If found, then start DOF Session
PuPStart(cPuPPack) 'Check for PuP - If found, then start Pinup Player / PuP-Pack
PinEvent_GameLoaded() 'PinEvent Actions for when the table first loads

usePUPDMD = true ' true or false to enable PUPDMD to display text and score in a separate window
PuPDMDDriverType = 0 ' 0 = LCD DMD (4:1), 1 = RealDMD, 2 = FULLDMD (16:9 fullsize)
useRealDMDScale = 0 ' 0 or 1 for RealDMD scaling. (for Real DMDs only. If enabled, useDMDVideos should be set to False!)
useDMDVideos = true ' true or false to use DMD splash videos. (false may be preferred for real DMDs that are monochrome)

ExecuteGlobal LoadExternalScript ("PinEvent_PUPDMD.vbs") 'Load PinEvent PUPDMD file
PuPDMD_Start 'Start PUPDMD if enabled (must be called AFTER PuP has been INIT'd)

When I try an complie it I get a error on
Dim PinEvent_Profile - Name redefined

I'm totally lost .

Hi Terry,
I will re-watch the video. If I can't get it working 100%. i will wait for the final version.
BTW you are doing such a great job. Really. The amount of time you putting into this is amazing .

graf.... slow down.

Why are you adding anything to JAWS?

Jaws Ultimate Pro - PinEvent hasn't been released yet, because it's not done yet.

You need to understand what PinEvent is...and what Pinup Player is. Watch my videos I linked. Jumping into this and doing things you don't understand is pointless.

Only tables that have been updated to support PinEvent and Pinup Player will work with the PuP-Pack videos, etc. So right now that is only the Halloween U-Pro and RetroFlair - BAM tables on the first post.

If you have Pinup Player installed and setup...then you only needed to follow the PinEvent instructions I posted on this first post for those tables.

I posted the table here to be sure they would work for anyone who didn't have Pinup Player installed yet (but installed PinEvent files).... but also for those who already do have Pinup Player installed.

That video is to setup Pinup POPPER, the front-end....not Pinup Player. You don't need POPPER to use Pinup Player (but you do need Player to use POPPER)

Did you watch my videos I linked? Those will help you to understand what it is you are trying to use first.

Then install Pinup PLAYER according to (David) Nailbuster's Pinup Player install video. If you aren't using Visual Pinball...then you don't need to to do the steps for B2S driver, or the dmddevice (in VPinMAME folder) files since those are needed only for VPX.

FP doesn't use either of those. It only needs Pinup Player setup, then PinEvent setup...then the PuP-Pack installed, then the table options (already in the script) edited for your setup.....all explained in the first post of this thread.
