finally decided its time to give creating my own pinball table a go.

A few years ago I was really into VP, tried FP but I don't think it was a vibrant as it is now, and also I never realized you could turn off the camera following when playing!

So recently i suddenly had this urge to get running with pinball, saw an FP table, and WOW... suddenly I realized i could make my own table.

Currently playing with learning to create a table, how to link it up with scripts etc... all great fun. Also gather artwork and sounds for a design. Im sure it will seem very amateur to most, but I know it will be mine!!!! i will have made a pinball table :)

Thanks everyone, I'm actually in Nanaimo,BC (on the Island) for those that asked.

Im a Data architect as my day to day job, bit of a DBA bit of a Developer, bit of an analyst. So a lot of the process and structure sits easily for me. Also sound isn't too much of an issue, I love to think i'm an amateur music producer in my spare time! (My wife thinks otherwise, as do my itunes sales). My big weakness is 3d modelling but hey, i'll cross that bridge in the far distant future...

Right now i'm all about learning each component, placement, configuration and steps toward building a working well functioning table. I never had much access at all to Pinball growing up (80s UK), and tables are as rare as hens teeth now (pretty much anywhere!) so I am certainly not a purist, or could even tell you how a real pinball moves etc, i am far more holistic about this, its the general fun experience of the thing.
