Hello. I have been lurking here a bit but wanted to officilaly say hello. I am from Baltimore, MD and a fan of all things pinball. My first videogame was EA's Bill Budge's Pinball Construction Set, which I loved as a kid, and seeing Future Pinball brings back memories of creating new designs. I hope to create some recreations and originals in the near future. I also want to build a mini cabinet for all of the awesome tables created so far fo my family and I to enjoy.

Hey! nice of you PinBalt,

I'm sure you found out by now that this forum is more about geeking around and innovations than general pinball topics but I try to make it not too technical and look more like a fun science lab...

So feel free to ask any questions or express yourself about whatever might help the future of pinball...or not!

Hi everyone.
Thought it was about time I actually introduced myself.
I'm from Merry Old England and live with my wife and 3 kids. I am 38 years young.
I am a Coach Driver in my real life, but have always had an interest in computers and games.
I've never had any training in programming and pick up what I can here and there.
I am finding coding for FP a pleasure and really logical.
Unfortunately my passion for pinballs is not based much on real tables as we have a shortage of decent arcades in the UK.

I would now like to pimp myself out a bit and offer my coding skills to any would be FP creator. I am busy at the moment with a few projects but if you have a table that looks great but you don't know what to do with the coding side, then drop me a PM and I'll have a look. Anything from coding the whole thing to just some tips.

Hi Everyone,

I am 61 years old and I live in Espoo, Finland. I am married; I have one child and three grandchildren. The oldest of them just starts school.

I have worked almost 40 years in different jobs and companies' related computers or software. My last title was XML Specialist. I started my career when only input media was punched cards and only output was huge pile of printed-paper. Now I am retired.

Pinball machines I have played almost 50 years now. I mean both physical machines and virtual ones. I prefer Future Pinball prior Visual Pinball, because I also like to look good table creations, not only play with them. Good original tables, and also recreations, are artistic works - in a way that they look and how they sound.

Hey there fellow pinball addicts,

Time to introduce myself.
I go by the real name of "Guy" and am happily married to Wanda and have a beautiful son named Tom.
I'm 38 yrs old. For a living I sell (you guys would have never guessed lol) wheelchairs and specially adapted stuff for disabled people. I specialised in children. A real challenging job I can tell.

One of my first memories of a RL Pinball is from when I was like 6yrs old or something. I remember drooling on the glass watching someone else play.
All those lights and sounds.... mmmmmmm. Me likes !
I got to play a few too in my youth, but not to many. Lost track of playing when I was 15-ish.
A few years back discovered FP by accident, played a few tables and shoved it aside.
Four months back I ran into a virtual cab on youtube.
*CLONK* said my brain and I lost it. "I wan't one" it shouted at me.

From then on I started planning my build and scavenged a gazillion of forums, websites, manufacturers and webshops for cab-parts.
In the mean time I installed every table I could find on the net and played them all.
Got all the software running : FP, VP and Hyperpin. All that's left is building the cab and order the parts needed.
In my mind, as some of you prolly can imagine, that thing is already built and working hehe.

When I start building I'll open a thread of course.

Last but not least, a happy pic from me and the family.
