See DMDdemo12 for advanced script to play All your frames from DMD Font. it is the best script out there. So thanks VpForums, PINBALL FAN thanks for the demos they help a lot. TUTORIAL 4 will show you how to put your FONT into DMD.

franz, unless I am mistaken you don't have to repeat sequence in gfx2dmd. you do it programmaticaly in fp..

:) yeah, you're right, HappyCab. i only put the frames i want to show, then change the speed of the frames. Each font holds about 90 or so frames. in a 400kb file so that is nice.

I also only use Font DMD on games that i can't find a color DMD for. For the color DMD i use a HudOverlay that i find much easier to make. Here is a very helpful Tutorial video made by SLAMT1LT.. it may also help.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3Z6WBHXV6U

I can not select them all......I can save only 1 frame ..... why? greetings Gianfranco

Hope the new tutorials help, again if you Export the font it saves all the frames in 1 FONT file.. so try to export it, then - close the program and re import it, you will notice that all your frames are there.

This is a test I did. The "Haunted Castle" to great becomes small and then again becomes great.
My problem is that I can not save in one font, all 23 animations.

greetings

Gianfranco

For example:
- your smaller "Haunted Castle" is #40 in your HC font (declared font 1),
- you go bigger to bigger and
- your bigger "Haunted Castle" is #62 in your HC font,
- you want to display smaller to bigger to smaller "Haunted Castle"
so:
For y = 40 To 62: Dmd.QueueText "[il1][sf12][f1][edge4]" &Chr(y), deNone, 50, True: Next ' go to smaller to bigger
For y = 62 To 40 Step -1: Dmd.QueueText "[il1][sf12][f1][edge4]" &Chr(y), deNone, 50, True: Next ' go to bigger to smaller
Well, maybe some adaptation to be done with parameters, but it's the idea...
I don't think Wild can deal with GFx2DMD, but now, we are two EM's recreators to deal with this great tool.

I thank everyone for the interest to my problem.
I was not sure have saved all the frames, because if I opened DMD editor of FP could not see anything.
Although I used Paint DMDand saw only the first frame (only 1 frame existent???)
Now I get it. I work with 32x128 pixels. So editors make me see only one character at a time and not four characters together.
Thank you all

Gianfranco

Is there any one that have the file Gfx2DmdF, i try to have it from the website of sebek74 and it is not there any more. Ive lost the soft Gfx2DmdF and would like to have it back.

Also it could be a very good idea if the file would be on: http://www.pinsimdb.org/fr/pinres/entry-211-gfx2dmdf into a zip file, so its possible to have the soft even if the website link dont work; the pinsimdb.org site work. A+
