I have made a new free pdf guide "volume 4". It's about "How to import 3D models into Futurepinball" and "How to export 3D models from Futurepinball". It's a document of 23 pages. I have put a little exercise in it. It use the softwares that i believe free: Softimage XSI Mod Tool version 6.01. Blender version 2.68 (i know they have latest version) but i think about older computer, that's why this version. Also FPMeditor from Pinsimdb.

This easy guide (well i hope, you'll find it easy as the previous ones) will not talk about scripting, more about importing and exporting 3D models as toys and others. Because the file size is 1.6mb and because i have put some security in it as to protect the images of futurepinball, gopinball, pinsimdb, etc. I dont think the file size can be splitted. Also that ive notice that uploading a zip file here, ive got the message (not more then 1mb file size). So here is the link:

You can download the document if you want, or just look it online; you can also find it on my personnal website. If you have comments about my guides, please write at: It will help me to know what you think about my guides. Have a nice day, and thank's to all for your help! A+

Thanks for this tutorial 20degree! Please keep your tutorials coming - they are very helpful, especially around 3d and milkshape. As you learn it please share!

EDIT: Perhaps you can use the video's that beta-tester created on using Blender to do some intermediate Blender stuff like importing wireramps from FP and adjusting them in Blender then exporting and using in FP.

Thank's for the comments, it's been a while i have come here. I'm busy for the time being. Yes it would be a great idea to make a book that explain more about making some 3d models. It's a good thing i have some writen permission from the high boss Ton Roosendaal (to do some blender printscreens for "free" pdf guides; as long as i mention that it is not a blender book, more a futurepinball book.

For this i would need the help of some one who already have some knowledges about modelling and texturing. An advanced person for me with blender, would be some person that can create some "Final Fantasy of the Playstation 2" style games with Blender. It is not necessary to have a person as advanced as that, that could be part of a new free pdf guide.

Put his/her name into the free pdf guides, as being a person that have helped for this new free pdf guide. I have some knowledge (very small) into 3d modeling and texturing. My pinball "La Petite Vie" on pinsimdb. I have model and texturize all the kitchen and animate it by my self. Having some person that could help a new free book would be great.

I can not do some printscreens of the free soft Softimage XSI Mod Tool v6.01 or even MilkShape3d, dont have for know a writen permission to do so; by respect of copyrights.

Boy time pass fast, i have to do some groceries. A+

Thank's for the reply, i'll check this when i'll have the time; and try to contact him (if i find out how to contact him beside here) if i have some questions about blender. For now i think of my new futurepinball table wich is unique of all pinball's, because in it you can loose some life points, loose some money points to buy things and others special. Not sure if this new pinball gonna work, because of my small basic knowledges.

Also with some administrators and moderators of my personnal website, gonna in time make a new similar look of my website. Like the 404 error funny page "file not found" of my self ive put recently with there help.

Once again thank's for the help, for the links. I'll try to make a new free pdf guide in time to help peoples to model with blender and import into fp. And mostly important make it very easy to understand and to follow even for true beginners. Without the authorizations of peoples here and others, it would not have been possible to make those guides; by respect of copyrights and with respect of all of them.

Thank's! A+

Because it's very possible that i change my personnal website. Also because i have seen some comments on Pinsimdb about peoples that would like to know how to create there own futurepinball.

I have think to give here the link's to my 4 free pdf guides for beginner. As so changing my personnal webpages (taking some pages out for new ones).

These book's can be viewed online and even downloaded, so you can even have it in your computer without having to be on the internet. There are visual, very simple; and detail. Without the help of peoples here on Gopinball, of Pinsimdb, of Futurepinball and others. These great pdf book's would have not been possible to help so many peoples with the software futurepinball.

If you are new, just give it a try. You dont loose anythings, even they are free (no money at all, even no form to fill in).

The first pdf guide:

The 2nd pdf guide:

The 3rd pdf guide:

The 4th pdf guide:

I'm sure you'll like them! A+
