Aim: a bank of four drop targets with two rows of lights as here:

http://imgur.com/a/AQ3a5

Initially all 8 are lights on, each target when dropped extinguishes it's corresponding light in the first row until all four targets are dropped, the bank resets then each time a target is dropped it extinguishes it's corresponding light in the second row. When all targets are dropped (hence all 8 lights are now out) the bank resets, then turns on a feature (ie a special light or a large score) and all 8 lights come back on and the routine starts afresh. rinse repeat so to speak

Me not knowing much of scripting I thought lets use something that already works (no point in "re-inventing the wheel lol) and I remembered Stern's "Wild Fyre" has a similar feature only the lights are off and come on when the targets are dropped. So I pasted the relative script lines into a blank table, but it only half works :(

What happens is the first bank of lights work as planned, but when the target bank resets the second row of lights do not go out when a target is dropped :( What is wrong?

Hi SlipperyJimdiGris,

To get the 'Lights' to turn off, as required, the following line of code appears to be missing:

Count4BankHit = Count4BankHit + 1

This should be placed after your "Addscore(50)" line, and before the 'DTLight1.State = Bulboff' line.

This will work, but then will also create a "Pinball Meditation Error", associated with an undefined variable (in this case: FlagSpecial).

Hope this helps.

Thanks Gin, your advice worked, and getting rid of the "Pinball Meditation Error" was simple by removing the flag special reference. But there were more problems, "undefined variable" errors and the lights would not come back on after both rows out, which was also a simple fix. Thanks again for your help.

For reference if anyone needs it this now works:
