Unfortunately, DMD fonts are something I know nothing about so I can't help. I felt like I accomplished something when I increased the size of some of the fonts on the MOTU's DMD.

I think Franzleo has the right idea. We should post more recreations of real tables. I have done some looking on PinSimDB. I have noticed that recreations of popular solid state tables usually get thousands of downloads where original tables number in the hundreds. Cirqus Voltaire is a popular Bally table that I think will do well on the downloads.

What process is used to dump DMDs from rom?
Do you do this:
Quote:
Since version 2.8 the needed dump functionality is integrated into the official pinmame source. So the latest version should work as good. Generate a dump subfolder called "dmddump" in your vpinmame folder and activate "Use external DMD" and "Show DMD Window" together.

You also can use 7zip but you need to set gzip as Archiveformat.

To work with the editor you don´t need a license. Only to export files for the use with pin2dmd technology.

And this:

I already knew an other system by Francisco, but no I understood that inside it was already prepared to do everything.
However Bob your material has served me to understand, even if it is a bit 'too complicated for those starting from scratch.

Here are two examples of animation on the background of dmd and scores that change during the animation. Of course the scores are fixed in this demonstration.
Greetings

Gianfranco
