Assignment:
1.Create "PrincessBall" that falls from kickers above
2.Catch princess at bottom and steer her to exits somehow....

This is a concept video only.

1. hidden mario rubber walls (as described previously to make ball bounce off of Mario Platform) with added elastacity using BAM physics tweaks. During Mario Mode
2.hidden princess metal walls (v-shaped) with no elalsticity to catch princess during "catch princess mode".

(***Note: you'll see in video , that I toggle the rubber walls off and you'll see that princess stops bouncing when she hits the metal ones...

3.Using nudge left and nudge right to move princess to exit and use flippers to move mario to support princess. (turn off "tilt" mode)

There a lot of bugs, but it seems doable.

Paolo, send me you current table if you want to me to try this. I think your version with Rafal's suggeston is less buggy...

ok, my idea, and your bam check, we can do this action..nice.bravo :D

but we have to perfect it,so I think that both ways are needed, to make all moviments of objects..so bam + fp "move toy".

you should send me this version to understand what you did....for to evaluate and then decide the best....more info via pm.

FP move toy has serious liabilities but I am ok with what you are prefer.

I would like to do a brief tutorial on how Bam move toy works

Once you see ,I believe, you won't use FP move toy again...

I looked at some YouTube videos of this table and it looks like the princess
after you catch her is a lemming ( like in the old lemmings games)

She starts walking and you have to follow her or she'll fall and die and it's game over

Meanwhile while you are trying to save her the game ball keeps bouncing...

I presume if the game ball drains before princess goes to exit you also die?

maybe, but I find it easier to do,for now, because all the movements I can handle them with the sub, or timer.

it would be very useful for all,the videos, but I can evaluate this later, which is better for me :D

exactly bob :D ,now, you understand, how the capture and rescue works.
but obviously it is not that it must be just the same, but almost :D ... after all that is a video game, not a real table, but I think we go very close

Just when you thought you understood "miniplayfields" , it got REALLY WEIRD

Wild and I had a dilemma.....on the vertical MP , we have a bouncing game ball and a falling
"Princess Ball"
. The game ball when it hits the mario platform bounces....BUT the princess ball when she hits the platform doesn't.

Secondly when we catch princess we have to direct to the exits...and she behaves like a lemming and starts going by herself.....

the key to making her a lemming is using BAM's magnet function and have magnets push
the princess one way or the other (if you set the magnet strength in BAM to negative numbers it PUSHES and not PULLS). However you don't want the magnets interfering with the game ball.....

So what is the solution......2 separate superimposed vertical MP's !!
To understand this concept, you have to realize that FP always thinks ("sees")the MP's
as if they remain where you put them in the table editor (at the "origin").So the physics of each MP is completely independent and does't collide with eachother.
With BAM we visually can superimpose as many as 16 MP's on top of each other (at the "target" location. So everything appears a cohesive whole. I have actually 4 MP's
in the backglass. (2 vertical playfields, a mario toy and a princess toy....)

one MP deals with game ball and the other the princess ball.
The princess MP magnets therefore don't impact... the game ball.
and the Princess Ball can be set to not bounce , while the game ball does

In the DEMO video observe:
1. Princess doesn't bounce, she is a lemming, I can sometimes change her direction with
nudging. In the demo the princess can't fall and die...I just set it this way for now.
2.Mario ball bounces
3.sometimes the princess accidently gets assigned to GAME ball ,oops...I have to tweak this.
