I'd be interested in finishing the table since my understanding of FP gets better by the day.
However, after close comparison to its Pinball Arcade counterpart, I came to the conclusion that it might be better to rebuild the table from scratch (despite my limited knowledge).

The work that has been done so far is an absolute mess and nowhere near a solid foundation for a faithful recreation. I believe that correcting these flaws will consume more time than actually starting from zero.

Plus, Gimli has already done some amazing work on the wrecking ball, so taking the high road on this would be the right thing to do.

So, to put it short...it will take its fair amount of time, but I'll do it!

Okay, time for a little update...

After thoroughly analyzing the Pinball Arcade version, countless screenshots and even more trial & error,
a little bit of progress has been made.

Like I already said, I ditched everything from the previous table & started from scratch.
Not that it made anything easier, but at least everything is where it's supposed to be now.

Some of the key features are obviously still missing (wrecking ball), and the polycount on some existing models also could use some optimization. So in case someone feels like being able to help out on those issues, let me know.

Despite the many tasks ahead, I'm positive that the table will eventually see the light of day! :)

Good start, friend :D :o I'm working on two tables, and my skills are not excellent for a table of this size, but if there is anything I can do, I'll find the time,( I will not go crazy)even talking with Bob :D

Hello,

A method I used back in the days was to record my screen while playing the table (with a screen capture software) - so that I was able to replay it image by image to see how the score changes and understand some behaviours of the table I was working on.

Whitey,

I'm glad you decided to take this on. This will be a fantastic table when it is done.

If you need help, I can test, create custom physics, fix stuck balls and perform sound editing.

There you go, this is the thread  .

Update: I was rummaging around, trying to get some starter material for this, but there isn't a single good image source, all I found so far, is... junk. :?
