Hey Gang,

So I've been working on the playfield for my new table. As I said before, progress will be slow as finding time is harder and harder as I approach my wedding. However today I wanted to share the title and current (wip) whitewood layout for my new game.

I also wanted to check I haven't broken any etiquette rules. As you can see the playfield is a modified version of Tron(Stern). It didn't occur to me to check to see if anyone was already making Tron but I see from an earlier Rom post that he's worked on one.
Hopefully its not a problem as my theme is different and I've changed the layout a bit but I thought it only fair I ask before I go any further.

Theres still more to do to the whitewood. E.G. The lower hole and bumper area needs surrounding guides and I forgot to texture the hole :). However it should give you a nice idea how it'll look later on.

I think what you're doing is great, and making a mod with a new theme is always okay. If you use an existing table that someone has created in FP, just ask for permission. If it's something you saw or your own rendition of a commercial table, it's fair game!

The build looks great so far!

Cheers Rom, I built it from scratch so I figured it was probably ok but never hurts to check. I've also just seen your MOTU which looks Amazing and is also quite similar too! You're very very talented!

You can't break any rules (apart for copyight holders) if you do all by yourself - but it's really kind of you to ask, nice attitude :D

Quick update. No images I'm afraid.

Have added the missing surfaces but still need to do some minor tweaks around the lower area (far too many Outlane
Drains ATM)
Scripting is well underway. All the shots do the right thing out of the missions. 1/5 missions is scripted. Upgrade shop is scripted. Missing all sounds and dmd work tho.

Next up are the remaining missions and probably the first artwork pass. Then some dmd work I think.

Will keep you posted. Just 2 weeks till wedding tho.
