Hi guys,

I downloaded the new Dolly parton MOD table but dynamics flipper doesn't work, I still have Default.XML in BAM and the physic is very weird.

Is there something to do ?

It appears to use physics 1.0 with dynamic flippers. It does play differently from my tables.

Hi George,
what do you mean ? That I have an issue or it's normal that it use Physic 1.0 ?

There is nothing wrong with using dynamic flippers with physics 1.0. It is mostly a question of whether you like the results or not. If you don't like the results, you might try using some of the standard XML files with the table. I noticed Physics 2.5 seemed to work reasonably well with this table if you reduce the strength of the rubber on the slingshots. You might try some of the other versions of physics and see if there is something you like better. There is nothing technically wrong with what the table developer did although I would not set up physics like this for one of my tables. You might ask the table developer if he intended to use Physics 1.0 on this table or if he had something else in mind.

I checked with the author of this mod and he said he intended to use Physics 1.0.

I played this mod making sure I was using Physics 1.0 by creating a DollyParton.xml or whatever the table name fpl is (using the "fp-p1.0" from the xml folder in BAM).

If you just play the table without making an xml then you have to be careful you don't have a default.xml file in the bam or future pinball directory that takes over...

I think the dynamic flipper mod works quite well on this table (The flipper aiming is pretty good)

The physics are bouncy and very fast but that is probably Nitronimbus' preference.
