Version 1.3 has been posted that adds new lighting options and corrects bounce control from version 1.2.

I have revised Ruckage's "Hungry Dead". I know it is kind of cheesy but I love to play it. The rule set for the table is quite simple. I needed something easier to work on after working on the very complex "Creature from the Black Lagoon".

Created custom physics.
Reduced size of HUD.
Added display for the number of balls on the HUD and backboard.
Fixed ball saver light so it works.
Added my HUD mod that makes the HUD toggle key work and change whether the game starts with the HUD turned on or off.
Added option for number of balls in the script so it can be changed.
Added clock to the backboard that was only displayed on the HUD.
Changed lane to make it easier to hit the kicker that starts multiball.
Added two loading screens.
Changed model on gate to allow ball to pass through better.
Added simple game room.
Created a version for a display that has been rotated 90 degrees. I made this version a little differently that I did for Jupiter. I moved the game stats to a wide black section of the table just above the playfield instead of placing them on the bottom part of the back board like I did on Jupiter. I am interested in getting feedback on this version of the table if anyone tries it.

For those of you that post tables on Pinsimdb, I have found that 7 zip files are much smaller that rar files. On this table the 7z file is 23.7 MB where the rar of the same files is 48.8 MB.

This is a fun to play table that is great for Halloween.

I have never have liked the macabre but this table never takes itself too seriously even though it is about zombies.

I think it uses a remixed version of the music from Super Ghouls & Ghosts. I don't know where the sound track came from but I even found an orchestration of it here:

I'll have to try it out one of these days, thanks. (To be frank my only aversion is the custom physics, I try to stay with one of SLAM's (2.5/6/7) or vanilla, if I ever find the nerve & time to look into how to change this, all my remaining 'custom' tables will have to worry hehe, they'd get a makeover to 2.x asap))

I normally start with the Malifica xml file when I create custom physics that you can get here:

I have released version 1.2 of The Hungry Dead in time for Halloween. I like to play it any time and not just during Halloween. These are the things I added:

1) Created custom physics with dynamic flippers.
2) Changed HUD toggle key so it saves the setting to the fpRam file.
3) Added plunger mod so it operates more smoothly.

For those of you that are table developers and have been following the developments of dynamic flippers, you should know that this table has 3 flippers. I set up the upper flipper on this table so it can have a different omega that the main flippers. It would be possible to set each of the main flippers to have different omegas but that would make the table play oddly. The upper flipper might need a different omega because of differences in the distance of the flipper from the targets.

I haven't checked the code but I did play the table a little and the flipper aiming is very good

The coding isn't really all that different. I did separate the omegacorrection for each flipper.
