The route I went with Indiana Jones, is a high score "attenuator"
That way the high score table never shows fractional values

In other words,

up until a couple million points of limit:
nvScore(CurrentPlayer) =nvScore(CurrentPlayer) + points

after which
nvScore(CurrentPlayer) =(nvScore(CurrentPlayer) + points )/10

So the limit is never reached and high score table is always a reflection of the players score
(although it is "attenuated" close to the upper limit)

If you deal with real long integer, you don't have to deal with score, just, and easy, to rewrite an high score routine.
The real problem is to change the font score on the DMD depending on the regional setting (with or without comma) and the value of score. But it's change from tables (with very very possible high score) to tables (with "normal" scores).

Just divide by 10 the score and don't use nvScore, it's more easy to deal with that.

I'm having an issue with World Cup Soccer 1.4 and X-Men 1.21 having the same named sounds.fpl in their zips. (on pinsimdb.org) if i install the x-men one world cup gives an error and visaversa.
Is this an oversight? or am i missing a step installing these?

P.S. Love your tables btw Smoke definitely the best feel I've found with FP. Is there a guide or suggested changes to other tables to materials etc to replicate the feel on other tables?

Hi,

I had the same issue. Create a folder for each one and put all the files inside ;-)

Actually you need to save both the table (*.fpt) and its associated library (*.fpl) files in the same folder. If you have more than one version of the table, save all the versions to the same folder.
You can save the folder anywhere on your PC but it might be more convenient as a subfolder of your tables folder so you can find it. It is a little known fact that you can save library files in the tables folder and they will work although it tends to add clutter if you do it.

Thanks for identifying the tables. I knew there was a table somewhere that had the same name of a library as the one for WCS94 but didn't know what it was. When you have a library file, it is pretty difficult to identify the table that goes with it unless you want to go through all the table managers for each table to find it.

you can probably rename the common fpl file of one of the tables and reassign it to the table somehow?

I've done it but it is time consuming. You can rename one of the libraries but you have to delete each individual link to it in the FP editor and add the new ones. At least, this is the only way I can figure it out. Then you get to redo it if the author produces a new rev as smoke has done several time on WCS94.

The folder method will work with the least effort. I'm not sure how well it will work if you use PinballX. You can create shorts to the table in the folder using this method if you don't want to use PinballX:

viewtopic.php?f=55&t=5653

Smoke really should just change the name of the library on the next rev of WCS.
