Lol....well apparently the 64bit Zed 1.1 does seem to run fine as far as Future Pinball is concerned, but it causes a problem with DOFLinx! The 32 bit Zed 1.1 has no problems with DOFLinx. Interesting.

That being said, it didn't seem to help. It was only a few tables that seem to have an issue in the first place, and that was when using New Renderer and ALOT of lights on at one time, it would drops frames just a little....

STTNG Zed is the most noticeable...and again, 95% of the time its fine.

This was with just copying and renaming the 64bit exe.

You might want to tell DDH69 about the problem you had with 64bit Zed 1.1 and DOFLinx. I'm sure there are many others that use the 64bit Zed 1.1. He can probably fix DOFLinx.

I can tell one story about the 64 bit Zed. Not long ago, I checked all the options under "Preferences" > "Editor Options" in FP so I could see images in the texture manager and then forgot about checking them. I played some tables with the options checked. There have been many problems reported here about problems with Future Pinball crashing or the table may open with a solid silver or black top when you have these options checked. I had no problems playing the tables with the 64 bit Zed exe. It's not some I recommend doing all the time but I was surprised that it worked.

DDH69 said that DOFLinx was made as a 32bit program for 32 bit versions of Future Pinball, and that's why it was messing up. He didn't even know about a 64bit Zed version.

You should publish this it is not compatible with the 64 bit Zed otherwise you'll get complaints.

Good point... I have been passed that on to DDH69.

Thanks.

Here is a demo of the new program DOFLinx (formerly DOFFX2) by DDH69. I've been beta testing it for a while now. This program has many more features and now provides full true feedback for Future Pinball using DOF.

This means support for all of the modern pinball cabinet toys, lighting and feedback for Led-Wiz, Sainsmart USB, PACLED64, and KL25Z.

This is my first attempt at doing anything with VB script and adding feedback to a table. I modded Star Trek (Stern) Ultimate Edition by SLAMT1LT to include animated lighting effects and feedback. Here is a video demo of DOFLinx running on my cabinet:

Terry,

Quite a few of your photobucket images are just showing images that say 100% and not what you intended.

Yah, I just noticed this....

Photobucket just changed their TOS, so I'm going to have to go with another image hoster and change the link for ALL my posts... :(

That is a big project, and will take quite a while....but I'm not doing anything until I have a hosting site that hopefully won't do this again.

I've been using photobucket a long time and not had any trouble although they have a lot of pop ups ads now.

Me too, but they changed. Now they want me to pay monthly fees... :(

Guess my pics are too popular.
